Caption: Tokyo, Japan - Dec 1997. The Tosa brothers. Masamichi Tosa (left) demonstrates the Uo-No-Me, or fish-eye lenses, while his younger brother, Nobumichi Tosa, models the Sava-O, described in their company catalogue as "A puppet in the shape of a pistol". The puppet has a face of a 15-week old fetus. Their firm, Maywa Denki (Maywa Electric), is a parody of the small and medium-sized companies that helped build the Japanese economy. Their company policy is "He who does it first, wins. He who grabs it first, gets it." In 1993 they signed with the Sony Music Entertainment label and in 1998 transferred to Yoshimoto Kogyo Co. Ltd. and have produced several records. Masamichi Tosa retired in 2001 and was succeeded as president by Nobumichi.
